A tentative release date for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D (along with screenshots and box art)

According to retailers, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will launch on May 22nd. Atari did announce that the game is on hold, so this may be a placeholder date. We’ll have to wait and see. Even so, for the time being, there are new screenshots and the box art after the break.

    Seems like the graphics almost the same like Thrillville on PSP. I love that game, but hopefully this one is better.

    I would love if this game has an eye-cam from visitor’s perspective, like we can take a walk on path and look around the scenery, kinda like Theme Park game on PS1/PC.

      It looks worse than Thrillville PSP to me.

      *Sigh*, really wanted this one to be good….
      I really liked RCT, might just rent it first to see if it doesn’t look like total crap in game.

    Meh, I wish it was more like RollerCoaster Tycoon (the original) I really didn’t like 2 and 3 too much :/

      Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 was pretty much an expansion pack to the original, barely changed anything. But yeah, I prefer the isometric aesthetics of the original two by far.

    even thou this series game is the best for pc i still cant wait for it to come to 3ds! and i gotta say, ive always wanted a portable roller coaster tycoon!

    Yay! I don’t care what it looks like; it’s still coming out! Also, in my opinion, it actually doesn’t look too bad, but it looks like it will have lots and lots of items in it, so if the graphics have to be sacrificed for lots of items on a standard card then so be it!

    Good news of a date. Makes more since for a game of this type to have a summer time release. Let’s just hope it happens.
