A new trailer for Fire Emblem: Awakening

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Fire Emblem: Awakening that shows the classes in the game. There are also two commercials to check out. They’re after the break.

      Hmm, Seems like it could just be the minor upgrade to the Lord class, Like the Lord to Great Lord from FE: The Sacred Stones, “Master Lord” could even just be the name for a “Great Lord” in all the Japanese FE games. Still cool though. :P

      But people out there say this stuff all the time.

      I guess they can’t understand that once every around 7 years, the current video game systems get replace with actual new video game systems.

      Well, In this case it does make sense, How is a casual gamer meant to know that the 3DS is a new system considering that the DS, DS Lite, DSi AND DSi XL were all just minor upgrades, It’s very easy to assume the exact same thing for the 3DS itself too. =\

      Nintendo needed and still needs to stop standing behind old, well-integrated, recognisable brand names and make it more obvious that they really are making next generation consoles, The fact that most just think of the 3DS as another minor upgrade definitely contributes to sales and if Nintendo don’t wisen up then the same situation is only going to happen to the Wii-U.

      Don’t get me wrong though, The post may sound quite negative against Nintendo but I’ve always been a massive Nintendo fan, I just worry for the newer consoles, They’re so different, amazing and unique but Nintendo just aren’t making that clear enough.

    i think this is coming to NA because most of the time games that come to europe come to NA also why would they have put sacred stones in NA 3ds.i also saw innnes in one of the trailers and he is in sacred stones. P.S take my children nintendo

      Well, Sacred Stones was already localized for the GBA so thats probably why it was chosen for the ambassador program instead of say Sword of Seals which was for GBA but wasn’t localized. In fact only 1 other fire emblem game got localized for the GBA and that was Fire Emblem (+Rekka no Ken in japan) which was the first FE game to be localized.

    MY only complaint is they rehashed the attack animations for the promotions.
    I really enjoyed watching all of the fire emblem animations for the GBA
    But this one is gonna be awesome with the dual attacks and such so I won’t be too bothered like I was with Shadow Dragon…

    Daww. They changed the Sword Master’s Critical animation. I always thought SMs looked badass whenever they preformed a Critical hit.
    And the generals. Oh gawd the Generals. They look so lame compared to the GBA ones.
