Square Enix has confirmed that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be getting a new augmented reality app and a demo in Japan that will be coming this Spring. Don’t over-react. No one addresses the BigFatGoronDude in that manner! :D This game does look nice as does RE: Revelations, but unlike the latter this seems to lacks sharpness. I realise that this is partly due to its lovely graphical style and the lack of detailed textures works well [which I hold against RE: Revelation no matter how smooth the mapping is] and maybe the visuals come into focus with 3D on, but it still has a bit of a ‘blocky’ look, poor video quality or otherwise. it’s almost Okami DS-esque with it’s poor blending. I haven’t come across any 3DS game as of yet where turning the 3D on makes the visuals anything but blurry and actually affects accuracy negatively, but I’d welcome being proven wrong. If this is an issue then it would probably be more problematic in RE: Revelations than Bravely Default, but you see my point. This is why I feel the game would be better suited for the Vita. I’m not trolling, I’m a 3DS ambassador from day -1 [before launch :)], but I’m a fan not a mark.
True. One thing I don’t like about the 3DS is how the 3D makes the textures more blocky
