If any 3ds footage/screenshot looks blocky… just zoom out in your browser. That’s what I do.

I’m actually disapointed with the graphics. Because they’ve been working on this game for 2 years and Mario Kart 7 along with Super Mario 3D Land has waaaayyy better graphics than this game. But this game has more content and awesome audio so I guess it’s ok.

The 3DS needs this game! It needs something to fill the void that was supposed to be filled by Mario 3D Land.

Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed the game, but I was expecting like a main-series Mario game like Mario 64. M3DL was more like the New Super Mario Bros of the 3DS.

(Wait… then what would that make the Mario sidescroller they just announced?)

How about Star Fox, Zelda, Cave Story 3D, Mario Kart 7 & Shinobi.

Plus Luigi’s Mansion 2, Crush 3D, Beyond the Labyrinth, TheatRhythm Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations, Heroes of Ruin, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Rodea the Sky Soldier (awaiting American Publisher for Release, luckily for us), Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure, Rayman Origins, Paper Mario & Tales of the Abyss.

You didn’t want timed levels or only 80 levels…

You wanted the type of gameplay that awards you with power stars, over 50 worlds that each had 3-6 levels each, making approximately 150-300 total levels.

I wanted that too. ;(

Good news though… A port of Mario Sunshine its way sometime in the 3DS’s lifespan. Funny thing, though; It’s the only main series entry that I’ve never played… :/ I’ve played SMB1/2/2J/3, 64, and Galaxy/2, but not Sunshine… I hope It’ll be fun! :)

I played Sunshine on the Gamecube (which was made for 3D Gaming).

And it is really FUN.

The only reason I didn’t beat it, is because of the same reason I didn’t beat the Original Star Fox 64, because I couldn’t tell the actuall distance between objects and it made a lot of certain parts of these 2 Games repeated just to make it thru.

In other Words, both Star Fox 64 3D & Super Mario Sunshine are the only None 3D games that I have played, that needed 3D.

And I have already beaten Star Fox 64 3D in every Planet in 3DS mode using the fun Accelrometer.

But I will play again in N64 Mode in all Regions.

And now I can finally beat Super Mario Sunshine also.

FYI Netflix CEO has announced that 3D Streaming is finally coming to Netflix.

But he also said that they cancel their Video Game Rental Plans for 1 Year.

StarFox is not a platformer, and neither is Zelda or Mario Kart 7. Cave Story 3D, I haven’t played, and Shinobi looks like it belongs on the original DS.

Plus, Luigi’s Mansion 2, Beyond the Labyrinth, TheatRhythm Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Resident Evil: Revelations, Heroes of Ruin, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, Rayman Origins, Paper Mario & Tales of the Abyss aren’t going to be here for a while, we don’t even know if Rodea WILL be coming, and I have no interest in Rhythm Thief or Crushed.

I just meant good games in general, and apparently you meant good platformers.

And Rodea the Sky Soldier is 100% finished in Development.

Which just leaves it to be release.

And after all of the Money spent to 100% finish the game, do you really think that they are not gonna release it.

At least Mega Man Legends 3 was 29% finish, instead of 100% finish.

And the guy who created the game (and also created Sonic) said that he is just waiting for a Western Publisher.

The game just gets more exciting with each update. And honestly, 500+ screenshots? No complaints here (except for waiting for a demo to come out).

I wonder if we’ll get to see some gameplay of the Exo Tank prior to the game’s release, that, more of the Space Kraken. or a showcase of Pit’s Powers/Specials (like the Mega Laser), because those things are catching my eye the most.

One thing that’s oddly notable is the menu. Just like the Smash Bros games and Kirby’s Air Ride, you can just tell it was made by Hal and/or spearheaded by Sakurai.

Same. It was one of the reasons why I got it at launch… I remember when there was a chance it would be a launch game too. I can’t believe the 3DS has almost been out for a year now. Absolutely crazy.

I’ve noticed something about the graphics of first party 3DS games. They all seem to have a sort of sprite-looking blurry edges. Sort of like a papery look. I dunno, just something I’ve noticed. Also, why are there random food objects in the game? Never played Kid Icarus NES, so I don’t know.

That’s how it is with all 3ds games. The screen resolution isn’t the best feature of the 3ds. Just don’t think about too hard and it wont be that noticeable.

You are able to explore, but the flying portions of the game will be on rails, but don’t worry, because the flying portions will not be most of the world, so there will be plenty of exploring on the ground levels

StarTropics reboot first, if you don’t know what StarTropics is I understand. It’s Nintendo’s own sort of Zelda rip off but the plot is as good as any Zelda. It’s just REALLY HARD

I enjoyed Star Fox Adventures for what it is, a solid action adventure game with AMAZING MUSIC by DKC composer David Wise, great atmosphere, an interesting story and typical Rare quality graphics. I know that it wasn’t originally a Star Fox game but I enjoy it. I consider it a side story but I do prefer it to Assault.

StarTropics is special though, it’s a REALLY HARD action adventure game on the NES that so far spans 2 games. It was a Nintendo game made specifically for the American audience so Japan only finally got it a couple years ago on Virtual Console. It has quite the story that actually does Rival a lot of Zelda games. It needs a reboot
