We have a better glimpse at F1 2011 on the 3DS with a few screenshots and also a trailer after the break. It’s not the prettiest game, but it might be the type of thing you’re interested in.

      Sorry to tell you Lawrence, but it’s gonna happen anyway unless they hold the release of this game till the Mario Kart hype dies down, which they can’t do cause it would be weird if “F1 2011″ came out in 2012. Sadly, odds are Cave Story will also be overshadowed. I’m just gonna focus on Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Luigi’s Mansion 2, because i’m saving my money so i can pre-order and pick up the Wii U at launch. I’ve got $335 so far :) i also need the cheapest 1080p HD TV available, so i can’t afford to get a lot of games :\

    Oh wow they actually improved the texturing quite a bit
    I would get this game just because I want to use the wheel peripheral with it even though the motion control will probably be pants. However I won’t have the money since I will be getting 3D Land.

    The gameplay looks beautiful, but the screenshots..not so much. They should just stop putting up screenshots for 3DS games since most of them looks nothing like the gameplay(excpet RE, SM3DL)

      Are you really that stupid? Or just trolling? F1 2011 looks shitty visually By each respective platform’s standards, but the vita version has much better graphics than the 3rd version

    I am a F1 enthusiastic since the early 90s.
    I always loved F1 based games, and now with some online funcionalities i’ll get the perfect F1 simulation :D

    Looks very good ( i stoped looking at screenshots wen i bought DOA for the 3DS lol)

    4 player online? Mario Kart has 8!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, as i said before, this will be TERRIBLY overshadowed by Mario Kart. Developers should know not to release their big titles on a Nintendo console close to the release of a first party game. It would basically become a battle of popularity, and we all know Mario or Zelda or whatever would always win, even if the game is good.

      Mario Kart is not same as F1 Format. I mean… I get MK7 is better game but F1 have online so it’s deal worthy since almost all games with no online. PES 11, Fifa 11, Star Fox 64 3D, Ridge Race, and others… that lacks the online multilayer.

    If it’s released around the time need for speed the run and Mario kart 7 is released I don’t think it will sell good, but that’s just me. I haven’t ever played it

    Since it’s still in progress, I know the graphics can be a little bit better. I assume the game will use optional gyro sensor when driving the car.
