Dude, while the term “Graphics aren’t everything” it would be nice to have better graphics, some people just get set, while I dislike these graphics, I’d like to see them improved, not the best on the system, but c’mon, the 3DS is capable of so much more.
I highly doubt the story and gameplay are so damn magnificent that its a must buy.

When has Marvelous ever focused on graphics? There’s a reason Rune Factory and Harvest Moon have such loyal fanbases, and it’s certainly not graphics; in fact, the story and gameplay (particularly the interactions between characters) ARE what make it worth the money. Still, it’s kind of like it was with the BlazBlue 3DS game. If you’re not a fan, and you buy it anyway, you probably won’t be as satisfied with the money you spent as fans would be. Must buy for general 3DS owners? Hell no. Must buy for RF fans? Definitely (unless you only enjoy the console titles).

Seeing as this contributes almost no innovation to the series (especially with graphics), and that I don’t approve of games which don’t take much advantage of their platform, I can’t wait until they release the next Rune Factory.
I loved the third one, and as anybody who played the Wii one would know, the improved visuals add a lot of depth to the experience. No longer are you required to run 2-dimensionally over a static background image; the game is a true 3D world!
Of course, I’m not saying that the graphics are the only thing that matters- but they have a significant effect on the experience. What makes or breaks a game for me isn’t just graphics, but it would be false to say graphics don’t matter.

Honestly yeah.. the graphics aren’t THAT great… but I prefer the way this is over a 3D version… I dislike the two on Wii compared to the DS ones… and top down works a lot better in this series (rune factory and harvest moon)
Now they could always do it full 3D graphics with a top down style, I wouldn’t mind that to much… Or at least change the camera angles when farming…
