Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d you steal our garbage?! was announced for the DS and 3DS a few hours ago and the first promotional art for the game has been shared online. You can find it after the break, and the game itself will be available during the fall.

    This could be something really fun to play. Even though I am not a fan of the show, I reply hope this game goes well and it gives their fans something fun to look forward to play!

      Is this for real? Legend of Zelda is good. but bro, check again. The logo’s dont even look that similar. And bro, have you ever even watched Adventure Time? It’s pretty mad. Remember Zelda’s tv show? It wasn’t.

      They’re two different things bro. Even though theres gonna be an Adventure Time game, you dont need to get all pissy about a logo.

      There’s a sword through the logo… So what? This is such a dumb thing to argue about… How does this logo look ANYTHING like the skyward sword logo!? There isn’t even a sword in that game’s logo!

      @Total911 It all depends on the developers. Hand over a franchise, be it a movie or show to a shitty dev, its going to be crap. I don’t think people should blame the dev team when a movie game comes out crappy, they should blame whoever owns the Intellectual property, be it Disney or whatever. The problem is that a lot of these companies don’t understand that a good game=more sales.

      Well, if you want to get technical about it, in the trailers for Skyward Sword, when the logo shows up, you’ll see the master sword under “The Legend of Zelda”, and then it’ll flip around to reveal the text “Skyward Sword”. So in a way there is a sword in the games logo. However, if you ask me it looks more like the sword stabbing the Z in the A Link to the Past logo.

      @the pig Well …. Im not the biggest fan of Adventure Time … But if you havent wached the show you really cant give your opinion !!! I wached it once or twice on my grandparents house (they have cable…Me dont ) And I actualy liked it !!! if you ever seen Monty Python :quest for the holy grail and you see the side cartoons they show in the movie its kind of like AT !!! Its kind of that mad( crazy) tipe of cartoons that really should be 13 and older that watch it !!! One of my favorite episodes that I watched was when this heart comes out and trys to make the princces be his wife or somthing like that…. But any way, the show is just drugdict crazy fun !!! But zelda has nothing to do with it :)

    Adventure time is one of my favorite currently running Tv shows. Even though this game will most likely be… Garbage (lolyes I’m not hilarious) I still must buy it!

      While I’m not holding out for anything special I’ve heard the group behind this game haven’t done a single bad game yet (it’s only an opinion though).

      I’m pretty sure the group doing this was also in charge of the famous Scribblenauts which actually has a similar art style to Adventure Time.

    I don’t understand why so many people like Adventure Time… In fact, I hate all the new shows on Cartoon Network because they are all stereotypical and have stupid dirty jokes in them that little kids laugh about but don’t even understand. Oh well. More games for the 3DS cannot hurt anyway (as long as it’s not crap shovelware). This could turn out decent.

      Don’t you think that if kids don’t understand them, adults/older people will understand them and find it funnier? Adventure time and Regular show. Those shows are hilarious. I also kinda like Mad (especially the one where they make fun of Seth MacFarlane ;D) but the animation is bad and not always funny.

      Adventure Time and Regular Show are shown on Cartoon Network but many of the jokes they have are intended to be for teenagers and adults….yes the kids laugh at the stupid things they do, but if u analyze the shows they somewhat have been pointed towards people who understand dirty jokes.

      I love AT and RS …so yea i know what i am talking about and this game looks….IDK havent seen much of it yet.

      Practically, because its stupid, and thats why we find it funny, the nonesense, sillyness and akward situations of a cartoon is what makes it funny, its nothing to make so much fuzz about, you don’t like it, its okay, if others like it, let em be.
      Of course a lil bit of mature humor to spice it up never hurts.

    Keep this piece of shit off our 3DS. 2005 through 2008 was the Golden Age Cartoon Network. This game will suck just like the show.

      I think he has talking about the shows that were airing on Toonami durring that period, mainly Naruto and One Piece. And both came on CN in 2005 if I’m not mistaken. And I agree. Anime > CartoonNetworks current slew of shows.

      Adventure Time is one of those shows that give me hope that there will be another Golden Age for Cartoon Network. Don’t diss it till you watch it. Gumball, Regular Show and Looney Tunes have potential as well.

      I DID watch it, I gave it 10 eps and I hated all of them. Same with rest of this crap. The only good shows on CN are the animes, Looney Tunes, Gumball, Redikai, Ben 10, Thunder Cats, Mad, and the DC shows. Every thing else you cant even try to compare to the original 8 and Toonami.

    Gee whiz, guys, why all the hate? Regardless of whether you like the show or not, how can you just judge the game so readily when all we’ve seen is the box art? We don’t even know what type of game it is yet!

    Considering that it’s being developed by WayForward, I’d say there’s more reason to have a positive attitude than a negative one. People generally associate licensed games with shovelware because a lot of them ARE shovelware, but with WF behind the wheel I’m not worried. Lots of people will agree when I say they haven’t made a single bad game.
