At least one Toys R’ Us location has placed the 3DS XL on their shelves, possibly breaking the street date of the system, which isn’t supposed to be available until August 19th. The system could be on the shelves, but not available for purchase, although that sounds a little strange to me. If you’re eager to get your hands on the 3DS XL, you might like to call your local Toys R’ Us.
